Hello darkness, my old friend

I can't even count the number of times I have started a blog. Seriously, it is now apparent that I am a master at starting but never finishing things. That doesn't really bode well with the reason as to why I wanted to start another blog. I'm actually here to say that I decided to write a book. I wanted this to be some sort of affirmation since I don't have family that I can share this with. So here I am, shouting this in this wide wide empty space that I will be writing a goddamn book! Will it be great? Probably not. Honestly, my goal is to come up with something I can be proud of. I turned 30 this year and aside from utter failure, I feel like I don't really have anything to show for. Okay, that was sad but it's the truth. Anyways, this is not the time to discuss my shortcomings but to celebrate this new step towards something, anything. I'm feeling hopeful that this time around I can stick through this.

So internet, let's see how it goes.
